Overall; I do believe that my research has benefited me through my research stage on this topic. the story that I will be covering in this project is "ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder") The reason why I have chosen to do this topic is because that this topic overall affects me on a personal level and I don’t really think that most people really understand how lonely someone who suffers from autism can be. 

 

The research methods that I chose to have really gave me the advantage of the research which was: survey, poll (Primary research), Internet and YouTube searching (secondary research). Honestly most of the point that I have found on the secondary research has not failed to surprise me on how many people know about the subject. On the primary research I was quite surprised on how many people that surround me in class today did not know about the subject, this shows that I could bring new facts on the subject to my colleagues.   

 

The research could have been a lot better if more people were to answer my polls and surveys, because I didn’t not have a lot of answers or responses. If this would of happen I would of understand if anyone else I know or anyone in the class knows about the subject. Despite from this I believe that I have enough information to fit in with the documentary's running time. 

 

In conclusion to this summary, I am happy with the way that my research results have ended up and how much information it has provided me to add into my project. I do wish that I had more information for my primary research but that is only but a small obstacle to my final major project. I also think that my documentary will be successful thanks to the research methods that I have chosen to provide this project the information that is needed to make a strong documentary.
