Research Summary:
Overall; the story that I will be covering in this project is that "Is YouTube Taking Over Mainstream Television?" The reason why I have chosen to do this topic is because that YouTube is one of the most visited social media website I've ever been on. It also impacts me because I am an 'entertainer' myself on the website.

The research methods that I have chosen in particular in my primary and secondary research is very effective for me. They're effective is because that during the research I have found some information that I have never knew myself. For an example; I never knew that kids would rather go straight on their mobile devices/tablets than to have desserts after dinner and that round about fifty eight percent of children have their own personal tablet. Meaning that YouTube will be earlier to access to kids. The methods that are not effective to not effective at all is the secondary, quantitive research where I proposed to find Statistics, Television reports and broadcasts about the topic. I only managed to find the results for the statistics which was unfortunate.

Despite from all the missing research, I have managed to get all my results up to sum up the answer to the topic that I will, be investigating on. I'd say that overall; YouTube is taking over mainstream television by mobile phone or tablets being very easy to access by anytime and anywhere.
The results that I have discovered over the research process has indeed changed my idea or even developed some brand new ideas like new information to add into the actual filming of the news reports. An example of this would be adding charts and analytics to the reports to show hard evident proof of the results that I have found to the audience

Inconclusion; I believe that the results that I have discovered over research will benefit me during the preproduction course of the news reports. I believe that at the end of the project, the final production will be a success and will hit all targets to: Stand out to the rest of the projects, to make the results of the research show up in the report to show to the audience the solid proof of the topic and hopefully it will be good enough to pass the course and earn a good grade.
