What is the topic you are covering?

In my news report I will be coving the story of the question “Is youtube taking over mainstream television?” I am doing this because the youtube platform is growing bigger and bigger by the day and Television shows are all moving to the online video platform to get recognition from any audiences who are not in from of their television screens with pre-recorded videos or live videos.

What kind of research will I do?

When I do my research to find my information I need to do different types of research to find similar or even  different outcomes to the answers. There needs to be four pieces of primary research and five pieces is secondary research overall. All research needs to be quantitive and qualitative.

How am I going to research my topic:

In my research that needs to be three primary qualitative pieces of research. I’m going to do this by using  questionnaires, social media and a focus group 

 

The next part of research will be just one piece of quantitative research. I will be doing survey for this method. 

 

Another part of research needed will be two pieces of Secondary qualitative research. I shall do this by: browsing through the internet and searching via YouTube. 

 

And the final pieces of this research will need to be in the in the genre of secondary quantitative research. I will do this by: looking through analytics, through radio/TV and using new broadcasts to my advantage.

Conclusion: 

Inconclusion, I believe that these methods of research that I will be using to find my information will be very crucial to the topic that I will be talking about in my news reports. I also believe that I will find that evidence that I need to explain the topic that I will be trying to cover.
